Do I have to pay child care services if my child is not there that week in the state of mississippi?
Public Comments
- Yes.
- Most childcare facilities around here still charge you whether your child is there or not. The reason they do it is because they have waiting lists of people trying to get their children in. And by charging for days your child isn't there they are saving your spot for you.
- Probably. Check your contract or policy statement.
Their expenses are not reduced noticeably by your child not being there. They still have to pay staff, etc. And they can't replace him with another child for just a week. Your child takes a slot; you need to pay for that slot.
- depends on what the rules are of the daycare you go to.
