Is there any relief in the future for child care services?
Many working parents feel the pinch when they have children and have to pay for their care while they both go to work and 1/3 of their money earned is gone to child care.

- many states have programs to help working parents pay for child care here in wa its called dshs what state are you in have you looked to see if you have anything like that ?
- I see no relief in sight. With most families needing two incomes to make it (and a big chunk of one going for childcare), I can see where the caregivers could really make the money. About the only way around it is, become a caregiver and take your kids "to work" with you.
- If your going to keep working full time ...why bother having children???
- Democrats have been more involved in family matters like this than Republicans, so there is a possibility that this will come up again. I know, I know, Reps are the party of values, but they worry more about things like homosexuality and abortion than what to do with the little darlings once they are here. I really don't mean to get political, wrong place, but let your representatives know what it is you and your friends are concerned about. Don't overlook the child care tax credits too. If you are the organizational type you might want to check into a neighborhood cooperative for daycare.
