How do I become a licensed day care provider in Ohio?

I would like to hold a day care in my home and I was wondering how to go about getting a certification or license? Where do I begin?

1. Go to the website for ODJFS (Ohio Department of Job and Family Services). They will either have information there for you or you can download the rules for daycare providers and the first section of those rules (if I'm remembering correctly) will tell you what steps to take and what requirements you have to meet.
