What are the qualifications for working in a daycare?

I heard you are suppose to take an exam to work in a daycare. What exam is it and Where can I take it?

1. Get a degree in early childhood development. The problem is expense of education vs potential for a decent wage. In other words you need to spend too much money for the degree and the pay is poor.


2. It really depends on the specific state you live in, and what position you will have. You may be able to work as an aide with just a high school diploma and no experience. For jobs with more responsibility, such as a teacher or director, more education is generally needed depending on the daycare.
