How much do childcare center teachers make in your area?
I'm moving to ohio soon and have a degree in elementary ed. pre-k to 3rd grade. If I can't get into a school system full time, I would like to work in a childcare center. I currently work there and I'm happy with the job, but I'm not sure how much other places pay. I make 8.50 an hour where I'm at now. I've heard of other places making much more.

- In Ohio when I work at a child care center, we made 9 to start. Although there are MANY that are legit (&those girls were only paid min. wage)... don't get a job at any place that looks... you know... just kind of gross inside. Make sure it's a good facility. I did find that there were a few nicer ones around that got paid more.
