The teacher works for Head Start a state run program in Indianapolis, IN (Marion County). I looked on the licensing board, but teachers are not listed. I have filed a complaint with the agency, but they are really not interested. This teacher is yanking, grabbing and yelling at preschool children ages 3-5. I personally witnessed her yelling and yanking my 3 year old son and I want to notify the proper authorities.

If your son is being abused by a teacher, it is your obligation to report it. I would contact Child Protective Services. If other teachers witness this, they are also obligated by law to report it. They are wrong for not doing so. "It's not only teachers, medical workers, caseworkers and police who may report child abuse. State law makes us all responsible. In Indiana, all persons have a legal obligation to report real or suspected child abuse." This is about the law in Michigan, but I'm sure it's also the case in Indiana: http://www.mea.org/legal/duty_to_report.html
