Public Comments

  1. ask at the local school

  2. Best thing to do is contact your local government agency to see what they require. They usually have a packet on how to start a small business packet that walks you through all the steps including all the forms you will need. It will also tell you what certifications they require for each type of business.

  3. First check on State and Federal requirements. Then check on insurance cost. If those two don't scare you off then give it a go.

  4. take a first aid class go file for youe liscence and start with a few kids and then start adding more

  5. I'd first check with your state to see what the certification requirements are... no doubt they'll expect to see some education in Early Childhood.

  6. http://www.daycare.com/georgia/

you will also want to be accreditated by NAEYC (national association for the education of young children)... www.naeyc.org.

I hope that you have a degree in early childhood education and will be partnering with someone who he knowledgebale in starting a buisness. Its going to cost a lot of money... to start just think about your insuranc liability!
