How do you know which daycare to turn to when your current one is closing?
My son has been in the same daycare for nearly 2 years. I just found out about 2 weeks ago that she is selling her house and moving. I have a few options but how do you know your doing the right thing? I have found one with a position but that means I have to pull my son out of his current daycare sooner than I had planned on. What do I do?

- Get recommends from friends who have kids. Where are the other mothers going?
- It's really hard to find a good daycare that you love. It's even a bigger bummer when they move. I asked my friends and the other daycare parents where they were planning on taking their kids. I visited the day care I was planning on taking my children to and talk to the other parents that had children enrolled there. My children are my most prized possession and I only want the best for them. Good Luck!
- 1) Talk to your child about it to reassure him/her if he/she is old enough to understand.
2) Find other providers with openings in your area, using for example http://www.daycarebear.com
3) Interview the providers to ensure that your child will receive quality care
4) Done ! :)
