How do I go about planning for a monthly fee based childcare service rather than a weekly fee?
I am the coordinator for an afterschool program and we currently charge a weekly fee for our childcare service. Although we have used this method for the past three years I have heard that some schools and other programs charge a monthly fee. I would like to implement a monthly rate because it would be easier to manage and track. Due to student holidays it is hard to keep the fee at a steady rate. How do other organizations and programs deal with this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

- They usually do not give a rebate for holidays. Another way is to see how many days are covered for each month and then adjust the fees accordingly./
