child care post

How can I get licensed to do childcare in my home?

Does anyone know of a website or information that I need to know to get licensed to do childcare in my home. The state is North Carolina. Any tips would be helpful too. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

  3. That usually entails a home inspection by the city/county/state (whomever grants the license) to see that your home if first suitable for the little ones; they look for safety violations, fire extinguishers (insurance?), etc. Once you're approved, the rewards should be worth the effort!
